2021: Year in Review

Happy Summer, y’all! It’s been a while since I posted and realized I never published my “Year in Review” for 2021. Better late than never! Let’s get right into how the rest of 2021 went.

The 2021 retail holiday season was rough. I worked overtime every week from Black Friday to New Years because we were short staffed, people caught COVID-19, or seasonal staff were no-shows. Of course, that didn’t stop me from working on webtoons and manga.

I didn’t work on as many titles as I did in 2020. In 2021, I jumped into the webtoons side of the industry and also back into Yuri/GL doujinshis. Which were a nice reprieve from Harlequin romance manga.

Since it’s June, I’ll post my 2022 AniMay Reading Challenge recap soon.

Wishing y’all a wonderful week!

    1. Lol. I didn’t get to really rest till after we fully closed the store end of March. It has been nice to just relax at home and work from home. Don’t have to pay $190/week on filling up my truck nor pay $60/week in tolls.
